True barbecue is imperfect - there are no rights and wrongs. It’s an extremely forgiving art that lets the pitmaster experiment and adjust to their liking. That being said, the most exquisite creations are derived from tried-and-true recipes, perfected over time. And baby, we’ve had ten years.
Borne from the spirit of no-waste consumption, traditional Southern BBQ takes often unused pieces of meat and hits them with low-temp smoke for hours at a time. This technique not only imbues the meat with a subtle, smooth and woody flavour, but also breaks down the more stubborn cuts into buttery, tender goodness.
Located at 1959 Queen Street East, our Beaches location serves up huge portions of messy finger food. Crowd favourites range from the Jack’d Up Grilled Cheese (cheese, pulled pork, roasted red pepper, beer-braised onion, and our signature Jack Daniel’s drenching sauce) to our famous house-smoked chicken wings, tender brisket, and sticky ribs. Plus you can cool down on our back patio with a craft cocktail.
**Hogtown Smoke is not responsible for rolling your distended body out of the premises**
